What we were hired to do?
Branding, Web site design, Content Management System, and Search Engine Optimisation
Superstar Holidays are specialists in tailor-made holidays and tours to Israel. Fully ABTA and IATA licensed travel agents for EL AL Airlines flying to Israel based in London, England. The did not have a web presence for their business and wanted to get a website together that they could manage.
Webtrendz conducted a few meetings to ascertain their business needs with regards to what they wanted to provide on the web but also how they would like to administer the site.
After the initial meetings, Superstar came back with a brief as to what the site should do and how it should look. We looked at their competitors and found that the best solution was to create a content management system that would give them access to change the website but still be able to maintain and optimise it fully for search engines.
We put together a number of designs and presented these to Superstar, they were able to then decide on the design that they liked best. Using PHP and MySQL we created a CMS driven site that would also allow them to add holiday and hotel offers to users of the site. The users would also be able to register and send enquiries for hotels and other services that Superstar provide.
When completing the site, Charlene Blake, manager of Superstar Holidays stated "Rahim came over to talk to us about websites and what it means to have an online presence. We discussed all the sites he has worked on and what he felt worked and what did not, we also discussed our competitors websites to see what they are doing correctly and what we could improve on.
This exercises assisted us greatly in knowing what we need to do and how we can do it better, Rahim suggested we go for a CMS which i was informed is a content management system, basically it means we can add and edit the whole site. This was great news to us as we have our own PR department who would like to edit and control the website.

As you can see from our website, it looks great, and has a good ranking in google. But what's the greatest thing of all is that Martin and Sharon have put the site content together and have done so painlessly. Rahim trained us over 1 day on the CMS and we have not looked back. Webtrendz and Rahim did a great job in understanding what we do and how we do it, they were able to mirror that with our online presence. We are totally over the moon with the site.
