Playa Bella Apartments case study
This newly refurbished, modern, family run Playa Bella Apartments complex is situated on the beautiful island of Ibiza within the bay of San Antonio, 3.6km from San Antonio town. Dan Darvey, owner of Playa Bella contacted Webtrendz website design to see if we can help with creating a new brand and website for their apartments. We were to create a site that looked inviting with good copy and layout. The site should have a family run feel to it as well as providing the user with all information they would need to book a holiday at Playa Bella.
After a few designs were put together, Mr Darvey decided upon one design he felt could be improved and then we could possibly have our brand ideology. We looked at the comments made by those who wrote in, we visited the resort and took pictures, we got a good feel of what it meant to be at Playa Bella Apartments. We were then able to put what we had learnt from our visit into the new design and came up with what is the new website today.
We have added a guest book, where users can look at what comments people have made about their stay at Playa Bella, but also for them to ad their own comments too. This allows the user to gain a good understanding of what the resort has to offer from a client's perspective. Something that promotes further interaction with the site and also in the long run aids the booking process.
Dan Darvey commenting after the launch says "It's great, much better then i imagined. Its clean, Sharpe and has a little family holiday feel. It's just what I had asked for. I think when they visited the resort they got a good feel of who and what Playa Bella is, that was a good idea and as you can see if you go to the site; it works well for us and our users.
I always look at the comments people leave, its a great selling point for us and i am always directing people to the guest book. They can see how other people like themselves feel about Playa Bella rather then what the website copy says. Getting it straight from the horses mouth as it were.
We are very happy we decided to use Webtrendz, we shall be looking at using their Content Management System in future so we can edit the site ourselves, but for now we will use the experts to update the site."
