What is the ClickAbacus Page Tag ?

The ClickAbaus page tag is generated by us when you sign up for the service and is specific to your site. We monitor any pages into which you have inserted the code. You should place the code within the <body> of every page that you wish to monitor. It is normal for the code to be put into every page. What are Promotional and Conversion pages?

In order for us to provide reports on the success of your site we need to understand which pages are especially important to you. We call these your Promotional and Conversion pages. Promotional pages are those that your advertising activities are meant to drive visitors to. Conversion pages are those that you wish the visitors to end up at. Examples of promotional pages are Pay-per-Click landing pages and pages that you list in emailshots. Conversion pages might be your buy now page or your purchase confirmation page. They may also however be your enquiry or contact us page.

A setup page within ClickAbacus allows you to specify the URL for each Promotional and Conversion page and we then provide special reports on where visitors to Promotional pages came from and how many of these got to your Conversion pages.
