Managing Online Advertising Campaigns
with ClickAbacus |

| ClickAbacus provides powerful tools to enable the management
of online advertising campaigns. You are able to analyse the success
of email campaigns, see which pay-per-click campaigns are generating
the most traffic and creating the most customers and identify which
search terms are used most frequently. |

| In order to use these powerful features you will need
to configure ClickAbacus. In particular you will need to identify
which pages on your site are important to you. We call these your
Promotional and Conversion pages. Promotional pages are those that
your advertising activities are meant to drive visitors to. Conversion
pages are those that you wish the visitors to end up at. Examples
of promotional pages are Pay-per-Click landing pages and pages that
you list in emailshots. Conversion pages might be your buy now page
or your purchase confirmation page. The concept of Conversion pages
is equally relevant to non e-commerce sites since they might just
as well be your enquiry or contact us page. |

| A set-up page within ClickAbacus allows you to specify
the URL for each Promotional and Conversion page and we then provide
special reports on where visitors to Promotional pages came from and
how many of these got to your Conversion pages. The Conversion page
reports provide an insight into where the visitors to these pages
come from so you can easily see which campaign is the most effective
and which you should consider changing or even scrapping. |

How can I manage Pay-per-Click Campaigns? |

| ClickAbacus provides the facility to manage up to 5
different Pay-per-Click campaigns. You simply add a short parameter
to the URL that you list within your PPC campaign console and ClickAbacus
will recognise this URL extension as a campaign ID. You will then
be able to track the success of each campaign as visitors move to
your Conversion pages as a result of your PPC activities. |

| If you point your PPC ads to your home page for example,
you should change the URL listed within the PPC vendor console to
read www.domain.com/index.htm?itcam=cam1 where cam1 is the identifier
that you have chosen for this particular campaign. You can configure
up to 5 campaign IDs (cam1 to cam5) within ClickAbacus and give them
friendly names that then appear in the reports. |

| Having identified your promotional and conversion pages
within ClickAbacus and updated your PPC landing page URLs you are
ready to start managing your PPC campaigns. |

How can I manage my Email Campaigns? |
| |
| These can be treated in the same way as PPC campaigns.
When you include a link to your site within the email simply add the
?itcam=cam2 extension to the link and ClickAbacus will treat resultant
site activity as being related to campaign ID cam2. Use any of the
cam1 to cam5 extensions and give the chosen campaign identifier a
friendly name within the ClickAbacus Admin section so that it is easily
recognised within the ClickAbacus reports. |
